FESTEN by David Eldridge Every family has a secret...
Synopsis
- Actually Dad, I’ve written something.
– Have you? Well done. You’ re wonderful, son. Wonderful!
Helge is sixty. It is a time of celebration. A time for the family to gather and smooth over the cracks left by the suicide of Linda, twin sister to Christian. As Helge’s eldest son, Christian will raise the first toast. Confined within the family house, the guests are rocked by the revelations that pierce and destroy the veneer of middle-class respectability.
